| Squirrel Hill Mourns Passing of Mayor Bob O'Connor 
Saturday afternoon members of the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition, Allderdice Alumni Association and Allderdice baseball team put ribbons on the parking meters along Forbes and Murray Avenues in remembrance of Mayor Bob O’Connor.
Mayor O'Connor, a long-term resident of Squirrel with a constant presence was also a long-time member of the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition, a charter member of the Citizens Patrol and an enthusiatic supporter of youth sports in the city. Ribbons were donated by Oliver Flower Shop. Pictured at right are members of the Allderdice baseball team. From right, Dan Chimes, Jonah Rosenthal and Ross Miller.
