Update 06/21/07

Squirrel Hill

  • 6-20-07 0750 to 1735 hours  1405 Shady Ave ( Children's Institute)  Theft   Victim's bicycle was stolen from the rear of the hospital. Bike was locked to a existing bike rack. Both lock and bike were missing.

Point Breeze

  • 6-20-07  0045 hours  6900 Mcpherson Blvd  Robbery   Victim was walking home from work when he was approached by two black male actors.Victim was pistol whipped by one male with a small black revolver. Males took $50 in USC.

  • 4-14-07 to 4-17-07  5600 block of Dalzell Place   Theft from Vehicle/ Access Device Fraud   Census 1403   Unknown actor somehow gained entry to victim's vehicle and removed currency and debit card. Debit card was used for multiple purchases for approximate $400.  
  • 4-18-07 1000 to 1400 hours  Schenley Drive  Vehicle Theft   Census 1413   Unknown actor stole vehicle from listed location. Vehicle was used a get away car in shooting in Downtown Pittsburgh on 4-19-07.

  • 4-4-07 to 4-5-07  3600 Beechwood Blvd  Vehicle Theft   Census 1517  Unknown actor stole victims 1993 Red Ford Ranger , PA Registration YVB-3756, from outside of her residence.  
  • 4-6-07 to 4-7-07  1600 Wightman St   Burglary  Census 1401   Unknown actor entered vacant residence through rear bathroom window, which was unlocked. Tools were stolen from contractor who was renovating house.  
  • 4-6-07 to 4-7-07  5500 Northumberland Theft from Vehicle/Criminal Mischief   Census 1405   Unknown actor flexed open rear passenger window and frame of victim's vehicle. A Coach briefcase containing various credit cards was stolen from the back seat while sitting on the back seat in plain sight.

  • 4-3-07 to 4-4-07  2100 block of Murray Ave  Burglary   Census 1408   Unknown person propped open basement storage door with dolly and removed televisions, liquor, and currency from business. Business was also ransacked with damages to replace broken items unknown.

Squirrel Hill

  • 3-30-07 to 4-2-07  Robin Road   Burglary   Census 1401  Unknown actor gained entry to residence by breaking out window  of laundry room.  
  • 4-2-07 0520 to 0530 hours   6400 block of Darlington Road  Burglary  Census 1408  Unknown person entered residence through unlocked front door and removed purse from front room.

  • 3-26-07 to 3-27-07  5400 and 5500 block of Dunmoyle St  Criminal Mischief    Census 1402   Two vehicles were keyed in the listed two blocks by an unknown actor.  
  • 3-28-07 to 3-29-07  1200 block of Malvern Ave  Criminal Mischief/ Theft >From Vehicle   Census 1401  Three vehicles broken into in the listed block,  some unlocked. Currency and a garage door opener was taken.

  • 3-22-07 0800-1730 hours   6900 block of McPherson Blvd   Burglary  Census 1405   Unknown actor entered residence through rear window, removing cameras from residence.

  • 3-21-07 1930 to 2215 hours  300 block of Shady Avenue  Criminal Mischief   Census 708  Unknown actor broke out rear passenger side window of victim's vehicle.

Squirrel Hill

  • 3-13-07 to 3-14-07   5500 block of Hobart St   Criminal Mischief/Theft from Vehicle    Census 1407   Two locked vehicles were broken into during listed times; one vehicle had a stereo removed from the dashboard, and the other had damage to the dashboard as if someone had attempted to remove the stereo.  
  • 3-14-07 0200 to 0600    4100 block of  Beechwood Blvd   Criminal Mischief/Theft from Vehicle   Census 1507  Victim's vehicle  had a Pioneer touch screen radio removed form the dashboard, two cell phones removed from the interios, and the steering column damaged by an unknown actor.

  • 2-22-07 to 2-23-07  1200 block of Murray Hill Ave  Stolen Vehicle   Census 1402   Unknown person stole victim's 1998 Audi white A6, PA REG  ERH 9414.  
  • 2-23-07 to 2-24-07  1000 block of Shady Ave  Theft From Vehicle   Census 1402  Unknown actor removed two wheels and tires from victim's vehicle.  
  • 2-24-07  2300 block of Murray Ave  Criminal Mischief   Census 1408  Unknown actor slashed victim's tires.  
  • 2-27-07 0100 hours  Murray Ave @ Forward Ave   Robbery   Census 403   Black male pointed handgun at victim and demanded money. Victim gave up money, then actor got into blue vehicle and fled towards Parkway East.  
  • 2-27-07 0540 hours  5800 block of Forbes Ave.  Burglary/Criminal Mischief   Census 1403  Unknown actor threw red brick through front door and removed cash register from front counter.

  • 2-25-07 to 2-26-07  200 block of N. Braddock  Criminal Mischief   Census 1405   During listed times, two vehicles were damged in business parking lot.  
  • 2-26-07 0630 to 0730 hours  200 block of Carnegie Place  Burglary   Census 1406  Unknown actor entered residence through unlocked door and removed purse from kitchen counter.  
  • 2-27-07 0526 hours  500 block of Lloyd St  Burglary   Census 1406  Possible known actor entered victim;s residence and removed currency, cell phone and prescription medications.

  • 1-30-07 1145 to 1225 hours   Beacon St @ Bartlett St  Theft from Vehicle/Criminal Mischief   Census 1407  Unknown actor  smashed out victim's rear left window and removed laptop that was sitting on floorboard behind driver's seat.

  • 1-13-07 to 1-27-07  1100 block fo Murray Hill Ave  Burglary  Census 1402   Unknown actor entered residence through side window, ransacked residence and removed items from interior.
  •  1-26-07 0000 to 0930  5700 block of Beacon St  Burglary/ Access Device Fraud  Census 1407  Unknown actor entered victims apartment and removed purse. When burglary was discovered, it was discovered that the victim's credit card had been used.
  •  1-26-07 to 1-27-07  5500 block of Forbes Ave  Theft From Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief   Census 1403  Unknown actor entered possibly unlocked vehicle and stole gym bag from interior. A paper clip was also jammed into ignition.
  •  1-29-07  0500 to 0540  5800 block of Forward Ave  Burglary  Census 1409  Unknown actor threw concrete block through front window of business and removed tobacco products from store.
  •  1-29-07 1700 to 1715 hours 1900 block of Murray Ave  Theft From Vehicle   Census 1407  Unknown actor entered unlocked vehicle and removed purse from vehicle.
  •  1-30-07 2100 to 2210 hours  Beechwood Blvd @ Fifth Ave  Theft From Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief    census 1402  Unknown actor broke out right passenger side window  and removed camera from back seat and prescription pad from lab coat. At same location, another vehicle was broken into by breaking the front passenger side window and removed bottles of wine from back seat

  • 1-28-07 to 1-29-07  100 block of Penham Pl  Theft From Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief    Census 1404  Unknown actor broke out front side window of victim's vehicle and removed purse that was sitting on passenger seat.

  • 1-24-07 0600 TO 1800 hours   5700 block of Solway St   Stolen vehicle   Census 1403   Unknown actor stole victim's vehicle from in front of residence.
  •  1-25-07  1000 to 1125 hours  2000 block of Beechwood Blvd  Theft from Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief    Census 1408   Unknown actor broke out front passenger window and removed purse from vehicle.

  • 1-23-07 to 1-24-07   6900 block of McPherson Blvd  Stolen Vehicle    Census 1405     Unknown actor stole victim's vehicle while it was parked in front of residence.

  • 1-24-07 1530 to 1540 hours  Theft from Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief    Census 1403    Unknown actor went smashed out the rear passenger side window of victim's vehicle and removed bag that was in plain sight from back seat.

Point Breeze

  • 1-20-07 to 1-24-07  7100 block of Mcpherson Blvd. Burglary   Census 1405   Unknown actor forced locked rear door and ransancked residence.

  • 1-23-07 1130 to 1200 hours   7000 block of Forward Ave  Theft From Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief      Census 1409   Unknown actor shattered rear left window and removed two duffle bags of clothes from interior.  

Point Breeze

  • 1-23-07 745 to 2000 hours   200 block of North Homewood  Criminal Mischief    Census 1405  Unknown actor broke out small section of glass on side door . Storm window was also forced open. No entry made into residence.

  • 1-9-07 to 1-19-07  1300 block of S. Negley  Stolen Vehicle    Census 1403   Unknown actor stole victim's vehicle during above dates.  
  • 1-22-07 0850 to 1830 hours  600 block of Greer St   Burglary  Census 1507   Unknown actor broke out top half of rear door and unlocked it by reaching inside. Jewelry taken from inside residence.

  • 1-13-07 to 1-20-07  6900 block of McPherson Blvd  Criminal Mischief   Census 1405   Victim states that her window was shot with BB's. Victim states she has had problems lately with local juveniles.

  • 1-12-07 to 1-16-07  5700 block of Bartlett  Theft from Vehicle/ Criminal  Mischief  Census 1407  Unknown actor smashed out passenger window and removed laptop and charger  from victim's vehicle.  
  • 1-16-07 845 to 1800 hours   5700 block of Darlington  Theft from Vehicle/ Criminal Mischief   Census 1407  Unknown actor smashed out rear window and removed victim's faceplate to stereo.

  • 1-12-07 535 to 550 hours  5700 block of Forbes Ave  Theft From Vehicle/Criminal Mischief  Census 1403  Unknown actor broke our front passenger side window of vehicle and removed items which were in plain view from vehicle  
  • 1-12-07 0830 to 1115 hours  1000 block of Shady Avenue  Theft From Vehicle    Census 1404  Unknown actor removed two tires from the passenger side of victim vehicle while vehicle was sitting in parking lot of Mellon Park.  
  • 1-12-07 to 1-13-07  5400 block of Darlington Rd.  Criminal Mischief   Census 1407 Unknown actor went through back yard of victim and broke two planter boxes.  
  • 1-13-07 1010 to 1130 hours  Fifth Avenue @ Beechwood Blvd  Theft From Vehicle  Census 708  Unknown actor removed the two tires from the driver's side of the victim vehicle while the vehicle was sitting in parking lot of Mellon Park.  
  • 1-13-07 0750 to 0800   6300 block of Forward Ave   Theft From Vehicle  Census 1408  Unknown actor entered victim's unlocked vehicle and removed items from within.  
  • 1-14-07 to 1-15-07  300 block of Hastings St  Theft From Vehicle  Census 1405  Unknown actor gained entry through unknown means and removed items from within victim's vehicle. Possible vehicle was left unlocked.  
  • 1-15-07 1550 to 1620 hours  2400 block of Beechwood Blvd  Theft From Vehicle/Criminal Mischief   Census 1408  Unknown actor broke out front passenger window and removed items which were in plain sight.

  • 1-12-07 TO 1-13-07  100 block of Richland Ln  Theft/Criminal Mischief  Census 1406  Unknown actor pried aluminum doors of shed apart and was able to remove gas can from inside.
